A digital passport must last as long as the watch.
A watch is handed down over several generations. So is its passport. Here are our written commitments, valid for every partner house.
Your data belongs to you
At any time, you can download the complete list of your watches: references, serial numbers, date of issue, status and history of each passport. Free of charge and without delay.
Owners' identities are not included: they stay protected, including from you.
Every passport stays verifiable without us
Every passport is recorded in a public blockchain register, independent of Custoce. Its existence and its history can be verified even if Custoce no longer exists.
Twelve months' notice
Should Custoce cease trading, the service would be maintained for twelve months. Every house would receive a complete export of its data, and every owner a copy of their passport together with its means of verification.
An open format
Our passports will adopt the GS1 Digital Link standard, the one used by the European digital product passport. Another provider will be able to take them over.
These commitments are set out in every house's contract.
